Bitcoin miner Core Scientific, Inc. (CORZ) has announced the appointment of investment banking veteran Jim Nygaard as its new chief financial officer on March 17. Nygaard has nearly 30 years of financial experience, having worked at XMS Capital Partners and Morgan Stanley, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and capital markets operations.
