On April 17-18, 2024, the Group of 20 (G20) held the second G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting this year in Washington, D.C., during the Spring Meeting of the international monetary fund. It mainly discussed the development of sustainable finance and the improvement of the international financial architecture. Pan Gongsheng, Governor of the People's Bank of China, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, and Xuan Changneng, Deputy Governor of the People's Bank of China, attended the meeting.
