Meta in talks with private equity firm Apollo for $35 billion data center financing

According to people familiar with the matter, alternative asset management giant Apollo (Apollo Global Management Inc.) is in talks to lead an investment of about $35 billion in Zuckerberg's "meta-universe company" Meta Platforms to help build a series of data centers in the United States. Apollo will be the main funder, and the financing plan is still in the early stages of discussion. Recently, Meta has announced that it will invest as much as 65 billion dollars in artificial intelligence (AI) related fields in 2025.
