Immunefi: 9 hacks in crypto industry in February cost up to $1.53 billion

According to the latest report from security services platform Immunefi, the cryptocurrency industry saw a surge in stolen funds in February due to the record-breaking Bybit hack, with nine hacks causing a total of $1.53 billion in losses, a 20-fold increase from the previous month. The figure is an 18-fold increase from February 2024, when losses were registered at $81.60 million; year-to-date losses reached $1.60 billion, an eight-fold increase from the same period last year.
