The Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Mr. Sun Dong, attended a press conference today (27th) to explain the relevant areas of measures in the 2025-2026 Budget. Sun Dong said at the meeting that the new budget proposes to establish the Hong Kong Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Institute, which is expected to start operation as soon as next year.
