Chia Network CEO Gene Hoffman said at a conference hosted by the law firm Brown Rudnick in Manhattan that the company secretly filed a revised S-1 form with the Securities Exchange Commission in late March after regulators sent the company a comment letter. However, there is no firm IPO timeline as the company wants to wait for suitable market conditions.
Chia revealed in April 2023 that it wanted to go public, but its listing plans took a detour as underwriter Credit Suisse ran into financial difficulties. This led to Chia cutting a third of its workforce in October.
