According to CoinDesk, Raydium core contributor InfraRAY responded to rumors that Pump.Fun could launch its own AMM.
InfraRAY wrote on the X platform that it would be a "strategic miscalculation" if the Pump.Fun completely abandoned Raydium, and questioned whether it could replicate its existing success. He pointed out that if Pump.Fun switched to a new AMM, it may face multiple risks such as insufficient infrastructure, low demand for migration tokens, and insufficient transaction volume in the early stage of launch.
Pump.Fun co-founder Alon Cohen declined to comment on whether it would launch its own AMM.
