According to official news from Ripple, Braza Group, the sixth largest interbank market operator in Brazil, announced that it will issue a stablecoin BBRL pegged to the Brazilian real on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). The stablecoin is guaranteed by Braza Bank and is scheduled to be launched on the Braza On app in Quarter 1 in 2025.
