Simon Gerovich, CEO of Japanese listed company Metaplanet, said in a post on X that the company spent about $6.60 million to increase its holdings of 68.59 BTC, with an average price of about $96,335, and achieved a BTC yield of 18% so far in 2025.
As of February 20, 2025, Metaplanet held 2,100 BTC at an acquisition price of about $169.90 million, with an average price of about $80,905. Michael Saylor, founder of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), commented: "One Basis Point of Bitcoin."
