Global Refined Copper Supply Shortage 106,900 Tons in December 2024

Gold Ten Futures, February 19, the latest report released by the World Bureau of Metals Statistics (WBMS) shows that in December 2024, the global refined copper production was 2.3618 million tons, the consumption was 2.4687 million tons, and the supply shortage was 106,900 tons. From January to December 2024, the global refined copper production was 2802.28 tons, the consumption was 2857.67 tons, and the supply shortage was 553,900 tons. In December 2024, the global copper concentrate production was 1.6957 million tons. From January to December 2024, the global copper concentrate production was 18.7559 million tons.
