According to Bloomberg, cryptocurrency market maker Wintermute Trading Ltd. is looking to expand its business into the United States, including opening an office in New York and offering new products in the United States.
Meanwhile, according to people familiar with the matter, Wintermute recently raised funds in a funding round led by Tencent Holdings Ltd.
Neither Tencent nor Wintermute responded to requests for comment on the round.
