以太坊核心开发者 Justin Drake 发文披露，Beam Chain 首次社区会议取得重要进展，但因商标问题需要更改项目名称。
会议显示目前已有 14 个共识层团队参与，覆盖除南极洲外的所有大洲，开发语言包括 Zig、C、C++、C# 等。此次会议介绍了 8 个新团队加入、6 个主网共识层团队的支持以及 2 位新加入的以太坊基金会协调员。
Drake 表示，该项目是一项旨在彻底升级以太坊 L1 基础架构的多年计划，第二次社区会议将于 2 月 28 日 UTC 14:00 举行，重点讨论后量子签名等技术进展。
