In a new policy, OpenAI says it is changing the way it trains artificial intelligence models to explicitly champion "intellectual freedom... no matter how challenging or controversial a topic may be". As a result, ChatGPT will eventually be able to answer more questions, provide more perspective and reduce the number of topics the artificial intelligence chatbot is reluctant to talk about. Earlier, OpenAI announced an update to its Model Specification. In a new chapter called "Finding the Truth Together", OpenAI expressed the hope that ChatGPT will not take a position with subjective judgment, which means that ChatGPT will provide multiple perspectives on controversial topics and strive to be neutral.
