On April 18, EigenLayer announced that it has lowered the staking threshold for EigenDA verification nodes from 320 ETH to 96 ETH. This change will allow more new verification nodes to participate in EigenDA's AVS verification service. Re-staking users can also choose to entrust their tokens to verification nodes with a smaller total amount of staking to improve the degree of decentralization of the network. Rollup can obtain better performance support through a larger cluster of verification nodes.
