According to Fortune, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said in an interview ahead of the AI Action Summit in Paris that the new Trump administration is a "breath of fresh air" for the tech industry, and its low-regulation policies have brought significant changes to Silicon Valley. Altman has previously donated $1 million to the Trump Inauguration Fund and co-announced Stargate, a $500 billion AI infrastructure project with the president.
Mr. Altman said the US technology industry was looking forward to the current development prospects. "We can now rebuild semiconductor manufacturing capabilities in the United States, develop robot factories, build data centers, and promote new energy development."
