U.S. stocks close: China index rose 2.7%, Alibaba hit a two-and-a-half-year high

Feb. 13 news, U.S. stocks closed on Wednesday, the Dow initially closed down 0.5%, the S & P 500 index fell 0.27%, the Nasdaq index rose slightly. Amazon (AMZN. O) and NVIDIA (NVDA. O) both fell more than 1%, Tesla (TSLA. O) rose 2.4%. Nasdaq China Golden Dragon index closed up 2.7%, Alibaba (BABA. N) rose nearly 5%, the highest since July 2022, JD.com (JD. O) fell more than 3%.
