The X account of Zach Witkoff, co-founder of World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a crypto project linked to the Trump family, was hacked on Wednesday.
According to posts from social media, the hacker promoted a memecoin project linked to Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Donald Trump, claiming that "Trump should confirm this soon". However, World Liberty Financial confirmed that Witkoff's account had been hacked.
World Liberty Financial said it is working to resolve the issue as soon as possible and urged users not to participate in fake projects.
