Feb. 11 (Reuters) - European Union trade ministers will hold an impromptu video conference on Wednesday to discuss how the European Union should respond to upcoming U.S. tariffs on steel and aluminum, European Union diplomats said Tuesday. The announcement comes after Trump signed a statement raising all steel and aluminum import tariffs to 25 percent, with no exceptions or exemptions. A White House official confirmed the measures would take effect on March 4. The European Union Commission, which oversees European Union trade policy, will seek to assess the views of the 27 European Union member states during a video conference at 4 p.m. (11 p.m. Beijing time).
