Report: Cryptocurrency VC investment rose by 13% in Q4 2024, but the number of transactions continued to decline

According to the latest Crypto VC Trends report released by PitchBook, the total amount of cryptocurrency venture capital investment reached $2.60 billion in the fourth quarter of 2024, an increase of 13% compared to the previous quarter. However, the number of quarterly transactions fell from 653 in Quarter 1 to 351 in the fourth quarter, a decrease of 46%.
