According to Techstartups, artificial intelligence startup Safe Superintelligence (SSI), founded last year by Ilya Sutskever, the former chief scientist of OpenAI, is in talks for a new round of financing with a valuation of at least $20 billion.
The valuation is a fourfold increase from its $5 billion valuation when it completed a $1 billion financing in September last year. The exact amount of the financing has not yet been determined and the relevant negotiations are still in the early stages.
