The Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) on Friday postponed a decision on options trading on BlackRock's Ethereum ETF.
The Securities Exchange Commission said in the filing that it would defer a decision on whether to approve or disapprove until April 9, 2025. "The Commission finds it necessary to designate a longer period of time to issue an order approving or disapproving the proposed rule change to allow sufficient time to consider the proposed rule change and the issues it raises," the agency said.
