The Bureau of Labor Statistics revised the number of new non-farm payrolls in November from 212,000 to 261,000; the number of new non-farm payrolls in December was revised from 256,000 to 307,000. After the revision, the number of new jobs added in November and December was 100,000 higher than before the revision. The average monthly increase in non-farm payrolls in the United States in 2024 was revised from 186,000 to 166,000.
