The Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) is seeking public comment on a proposal to convert a grey release Litecoin trust into an exchange-traded product.
In a filing on Thursday, the Securities Exchange Commission accepted the application filed by NYSE Arca on behalf of Grayscale and asked that the comments be filed within 21 days of publication in the Federal Register. The agency can decide to approve, reject or "file a lawsuit."
