Vitalik: Pectra upgrade to be launched in March, L2 capacity expected to double

Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin tweeted that the Pectra upgrade is expected to be launched in March, and one of the important updates is to increase the blob target from 3 to 6, which means that the capacity of the L2 network will be doubled.
Vitalik suggested that the blob target be determined through a voting mechanism of cryptocurrency holders, so that it can be flexibly adjusted with technological progress without waiting for a hard fork. At the same time, he expressed his gratitude to developers working on EIP-4444 (historical data expiration), statelessness, client side efficiency upgrades, etc., which will help to improve the friendliness of L1 decentralization.
