Imea: Mato Grosso 2024/25 annual soybean harvest rate has reached 12.2%, lower than the same period last year

Golden Ten Futures, February 3, according to foreign media reports, data released by the Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea) of Mato Grosso State in Brazil shows that as of January 31, Mato Grosso State's soybean harvesting area in the 2024/25 year has reached 12.2% of the predicted total area, an increase of 7.82 percentage points from the previous week. The local precipitation has disrupted the harvesting operation. As the largest soybean producing area in Brazil, the current harvesting progress in the state is behind the 39.39% of the same period last year and 25.33% of the historical average for the same period.
