知情人士透露，在拜登政府时期担任消费者金融保护局(CFPB)局长的Rohit Chopra是被特朗普政府解除职务的。Chopra周六在X上发表了给特朗普的信，其中写道“本信函证实我作为CFPB局长的任期已经结束”。Chopra在2021年9月得到参议院的提名确认。他的离去在意料之中，一方面是由于其监管风格激进，另一个原因是2020年最高法院的一项裁决使总统可以轻松地解雇CFPB负责人。
