据《国会山报》，美国人事管理办公室（OPM）表示，暂无意关闭政府网站，并称有关该说法的报道为“虚假谣言”。据该办公室的一位发言人称，人事管理办公室向各机构发出了指导，要求它们在31日下午5时之前从网站上删除与性别意识形态相关的内容，但并不会关闭那些未能遵守要求的政府网站。
