据“链上侦探”ZachXBT披露，某Coinbase用户上月遭社会工程攻击，据悉已损失110枚cbBTC，价值1150万美元，被盗资金立即通过多个交易所进行即时交换、桥接和清洗，并与以太坊上的其他Coinbase受害者的资金合并。ZachXBT补充表示，Coinbase上的社交工程诈骗每年导致用户损失 1.5 亿美元以上，原因是数据泄露、电子邮件/电话欺骗、错误检测等。
