Cardano's Plomin hard fork will go live later on Wednesday. The network will transition to fully decentralized governance. Before the upgrade to fully decentralized governance, Cardano's ADA token trading price increased slightly. After the upgrade, ADA holders get voting rights to support parameter changes, treasury withdrawals to decide the future of the hard fork and the blockchain. It is reported that the Plomin hard fork requires the equity pool operator to upgrade the node and pass the upgrade with 51% of the votes. As of last week, nearly 80% of the nodes have been upgraded to the new version.
