摩根士丹利策略师建议客户做空10年期通胀保值国债(TIPS)，买入10年期美国国债，以期从通胀降温和盈亏平衡率可能逆转中获利。Aryaman Singh等策略师建议押注10年期盈亏平衡通胀率将从目前的2.4%左右跌至2.15%，止损目标设在2.5%。随着通胀降温，他们预计国债收益率的下降速度将快于TIPS收益率。
