1月27日消息，World 官方发文澄清社交媒体上分享的持续错误信息，World 表示他们遵守巴西的所有法律法规，没有购买或交换个人数据的代币（包括虹膜数据）；不收集、存储或出售个人数据（包括虹膜数据），并且为网络参与者提供有用的服务。
此前消息，巴西国家数据保护局下令 World 停止向当地用户提供服务。
