The BNB Foundation today announced the official completion of BNB Chain's 30th quarterly BNB token destruction. A total of 1,634,200.95 BNB tokens were destroyed this time, worth approximately $1.16 billion at the time of destruction.
Among them, the number of automatic destruction is 1,524,200.95 BNB, and the anti-black hole (Pioneer Burn) plan is divided into 110,000 pieces. To promote the smooth integration of BNB, the verification node of the BNB beacon chain (Bacon Chain) left a total of 110,000 BNB of pledged BNB on the beacon chain. As the beacon chain is out of service, this part of BNB cannot be restored permanently, and it is regarded as entering the black hole and being destroyed. Verifiers will be compensated through the anti-black hole program.
