Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has revealed on X that it has donated $111,111 worth of bitcoins to freed Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht, whose address comes from an address on the freeross.org, which claims to be Ulbricht's official website and offers ways for people to contribute to the creators of dark web marketplaces.
According to Mempool's bitcoin blockchain explorer, as of press time, the page has received 93 donations totaling 2.5 BTC, equivalent to approximately $261,000.
