Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin joined other members of the crypto community in calling for the release of Ethereum developer Virgil Griffith, Tornado Cash co-founder Roman Storm and developer Alexey Pertsev. Buterin said on X on Wednesday that "no one is abandoned".
"You created Tornado Cash in large part because of my advice, and it would be a betrayal of a fundamental honour for me to do so and then not support you when you need help," Vitalik said. "At Ethereum, we protect our members and uphold our honour."
The day before, Trump signed an executive order pardoning Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht.
The Ethereum community has called on Trump to help free developers such as Virgil Griffith, with Vitalik saying "no one is abandoned"
