On January 17, Bitlayer, the first Bitcoin two-layer solution based on the BitVM paradigm, officially announced the first minimized trust BTC bridge powered by BitVM technology, the Finality Bridge.
Finality Bridge is based on BitVM technology and has the characteristics of high security, support for native income and programmability. It allows users to securely mint BTC into YBTC (Yield BTC) tokens in a way that minimizes trust, and participate in liquidity mining, staking or lending in Bitlayer and other blockchain ecosystems. DeFi scenarios such as liquidity mining, staking or lending can obtain diversified integration benefits without worrying about complex conversion processes or high transaction costs. At present, Bitlayer Finality Bridge has been launched on the testnet, supporting users to log in and use. The follow-up team will launch more new functions soon.
