On January 16, the latest data obtained from Sensor Tower shows that it is estimated that in the past seven days (January 8 to January 14 local time), Xiaohongshu's mobile app downloads in the United States increased by more than 20 times compared with the previous seven days (January 1 to January 7 local time), and increased by more than 30 times compared with the same period in 2024. Since the beginning of the month, more than one-fifth (22%) of Xiaohongshu's total app downloads have come from the United States, compared with only 2% in the same period in 2024.
