OpenAI announced the appointment of BlackRock executive Adebayo Ogunlesi to the board of directors.
As a founding partner, chairperson and CEO of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), one of the infrastructure investment platforms, and a senior managing director at BlackRock, Ogunlesi has extensive leadership experience and expertise in corporate finance, infrastructure investment, and global market strategy.
The appointment further complements the Board's depth in the areas of technology, AI security, cyber security, regulatory, economic, non-profit and governance, enhancing its ability to oversee the Company's progress towards AGI.
