In its "Bitcoin Monthly" report, ARK Invest said that while Bitcoin's volatility spiked at the end of the fourth quarter, it was "not significant in historical context". Bitcoin's monthly volatility in December was relatively modest compared to its annual volatility, and the low relative volatility is a sign that Bitcoin has not yet entered the frenetic phase of its cycle, meaning further gains are likely, especially in a bull market.
"Indeed, these data points suggest further upside in 2025," the ARK report said.
