MPOB's December monthly report is more neutral. Will palm oil rise in the afternoon?

Golden Ten Futures Special New Lake Futures Comments: At noon today, the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) released the official supply and demand data of horse palm in December. The data shows that the production of Malay wool palm in December was 1.487 million tons, a decrease of 8.3% month-on-month, in line with market expectations. Exports 1.342 million tons, a decrease of 10% month-on-month. Previously, the agency estimated that exports would decrease by 7% month-on-month, and the actual exports were slightly lower than expected 40,000 tons. December inventories 1.709 million tons, a decrease of 6.9% month-on-month. Previously, the agency estimated that inventories 1.76 million tons. December apparent demand was estimated at 310,000 tons, slightly higher than expected. Overall, the official supply and demand data of horse palm in December was slightly more neutral than expected. The expected rainfall at the origin in January is still high, and with more holidays, the stock of horse palm is still declining.
