148th Ethereum ACDC meeting: Developers agree that the seventh Ethereum consensus layer fork or upgrade should be named after the star "Gloas"

Christine Kim, Vice President of Research at Galaxy, posted a summary of the 148th Ethereum Core Developer Consensus (ACDC) Conference Call. This week developers agreed that the name of the 7th CL (Ethereum Consensus Layer) fork or upgrade should be named after the star "Gloas"; EF Engineer Parithosh Jayanthi pointed out an open issue in the CL specification that developers need to address in order to launch Pectra Devnet 5; Additionally, the hive tests for EL and CL clients have been updated and most client sides performed well in these tests.
