Deployers of OpenLeverage Finance, a DeFi lending protocol, have sent an on-chain message to attackers offering a 20% bounty on any stolen funds. If the hackers return the remaining 80%, the 20% will go to the thieves.
If the attacker chooses not to participate in voluntary restitution and completes the process by 16:00 on April 18, 2024, the reward will be expanded to the public and a full 20% reward will be offered to those who can identify the attacker in a manner that leads to his conviction in court.
Previously, OpenLeverage was suspected of being hacked and lost about $236,000, and the agreement has been suspended.
