Oklahoma lawmakers introduce "Bitcoin Freedom Act" to allow state employees to receive salaries in bitcoin

U.S. Senator Dusty Deevers of Oklahoma has filed the "Bitcoin Freedom Act" numbered SB325, which would allow Oklahoma employees the option to receive their wages in Bitcoin and allow vendors to accept payments in Bitcoin. The SB325 Act ensures that participation is entirely voluntary, respects free market principles, and gives employees, employers, and businesses the right to choose the method of payment that best suits them. The SB325 Act is eligible for consideration in the 60th Legislative Session, which begins on February 3.
