According to a report dated January 6, bitcoin miner CleanSpark mined 668 BTC in December 2024 and 7,024 BTC for the whole year. The company's hash rate (i.e. the amount of computing power deployed to secure the Bitcoin network) increased by 287.9% year-on-year.
By the end of 2024, CleanSpark had amassed 9,952 BTC worth a total of $1.01 billion. It is now the fifth largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, surpassing Tesla's BTC holdings.
