According to a CoinShares research report, global inflows of digital asset investment products hit a record high of $44.20 billion in 2024, nearly four times the amount recorded in 2021. Among them, Bitcoin attracted $38 billion inflows, accounting for 29% of total assets under management (AuM); Ethereum inflows of $4.80 billion for the whole year, accounting for 26% of AuM. Other counterfeit products (excluding Ethereum) inflows totaled $813 million, accounting for 18% of AuM.
2025 got off to a strong start with inflows of $585 million in the first three days. However, the first week as a whole, including the last two trading days of 2024, saw a net outflow of $75 million.
