1月6日消息，以太坊创始人 Vitalik Buterin 在 X 平台在回复以太坊基金会研究员 Devansh Mehta 关于「以太坊基金会应该开始支持非加密货币、不仅仅是圈子里的人互相吹捧的活动」时表示：「在我看来，主流密码学、网络安全和非区块链去中心化被视为“非加密货币相关”本身就是一种失败（我认为这种观念主要来自加密货币这边），值得采取措施来解决这个问题。」
