On January 4th, according to CNBC, Microsoft (MSFT. O) said in a blog post on Friday that Microsoft will spend $80 billion on AI data centers in fiscal year 2025. Brad Smith, Microsoft's vice chairperson and president, wrote that more than half of Microsoft's $80 billion spending will go to the United States. Microsoft's fiscal year 2025 ends in June this year.
