International crude oil futures settlement price rose

On January 4th, WTI crude oil futures closed up 0.83 US dollars, or 1.13%, at 73.96 US dollars per barrel, the highest closing price since October 11th. Brent crude oil March futures closed up 0.58 US dollars, or 0.76%, at 76.51 US dollars per barrel, the highest closing price since October 14th.
