Bitcoin miner MARA Holdings, Inc has released an unaudited BTC production update for December 2024. In December, the company mined 249 blocks, which is the second most blocks ever mined in a single month. In 2024, MARA acquired 22,065 BTC at an average price of $87,205 and mined an additional 9,457 BTC. MARA ended the year with a BTC per share yield of 62.7%.
MARA now owns a total of 44,893 BTC worth $4.20 billion at the spot price of $93,354/BTC. Notably, MARA has lent 7,377 BTC to third parties as of December 31, 2024.
