The U.S. Attorney's Office revealed that Terraform Labs co-founder Do Kwon was extradited from Montenegro to the United States to face an additional charge: conspiracy to launder money.
In an indictment unsealed on Jan. 2 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, U.S. Attorney Damian Williams charged Do Kwon with conspiring with others to launder money. Money laundering charges were not initially included in the eight-count indictment filed against Do Kwon in March 2023.
