Speaking on X, Mr. Musk said that the best way to ensure the accuracy of the Community Notes system was to become a contributor. He stressed that the system was fully decentralized and open-source, including code and data, and that any manipulation would be easily detected. Mr. Musk further noted that X and his team, including himself, had no editorial control over the system, which works in a way that people who once disagreed must agree in order for a comment to appear.
